The Talamonti estate was founded in 2001, in a magnificent part of the Abruzzi with the introduction of innovative techniques into a historic winemaking area by the Redmont family. The founders initiated this adventure with the mission to promote the region’s endowments, which included unique grape varieties of great potential, Montepulciano, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo and Pecorino. The family values that guide the Redmont family in its entrepreneurial mission are a strong sense of ethical responsibility and the respect of the law in its values and principles.  The majority of vineyards are managed in an organic manner. Today the estate totals 35 hectares. In addition, Talamonti’s vineyard-estate’s energy is 100% sourced by Renewable Wind Power as of Fall 2011. The winemaking facilities are state-of-the-art and permit a flexible and impeccable production process. Talamonti vineyards are all located in the historic Tavo Valley region of Loreto Aprutino; an area that has documented presence of mankind reaching back over 70.000 years.
