Innocenzo Turco

The Innocenzo Turco farm is a small family farm, established between the 19th and 20th centuries at Quiliano (SV) and then handed down from father to son. Starting from the mid-1990s, Lorenzo Turco, a wine enthusiast, turned it into a professional business, devoting himself to the reconstruction of the family vineyards. He did this with particular care for the conservation of the Ligurian varieties – Pigato, Vermentino, Granaccia (local name of the Alicante vine), long since acclimatized in the various positions. For this reason, the Vigneto dei Cappuccini has always provided the cuttings for the replanting of the vineyards. The company currently has available almost 4.5 ha cultivated by vineyards, some of which have not yet begun production. The current productive capacity is approximately 12,000 bottles. In the area next to the cellar, that dates from the end of the 19th century and has been restructured according to the original environments, a small agriturismo operates, offering traditional Ligurian dishes, served with the wine and olive oil produced by the farm.
