Tenuta Beltrame

SAUVIGNON

  GRAPES:  100% SAUVIGNON

 

The Wine: After the grapes have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time, the vinification process is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 20 days. The wine is then decanted into stainless steel casks and rests for approximately 6 months while ageing an additional 2 months before being bottled and released on the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Sauvignon is brilliant straw color with a greenish tint; a delicate floral-grassy bouquet with hints of vanilla, honey and lemongrass is extracted. Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with a bittersweet aftertaste of pear and toasted almond. Excellent with light antipasti, risotto, seafood platters or just as an aperitif.   

CHARDONNAY

 GRAPES: 100% CHARDONNAY

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Chardonnay grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time. The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 20 days. The wine is decanted into stainless steel casks and rests for approximately 6 months and ages for an additional 2 months before being bottled and released in the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Chardonnay is a brilliant yellow straw color; the fragrance recalls green apples and wild violets with hints of vanilla and exotic fruit.  Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with a bittersweet aftertaste of banana. This wine is suitable for light first courses, fish soup, grilled vegetables, seafood platters, risotto with light sauces or just as an aperitif.  

CABERNET SAUVIGNON

  GRAPES: 100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time, which takes place around the second week in October.  The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After the fermentation, the wine is decanted into stainless steel tanks where it ages for approximately 18 months.  Only after undergoing a refining period of about 5 months in bottle, it is released on the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Cabernet Sauvignon is bright ruby red in color with garnet hues. A rich fruity aroma of cherry, plum jam and hints of nutmeg are detected on the nose. A very complex wine, silky texture, ripe with good body, depth and concentration. A soft lingering aftertaste reminiscent of cocoa, roasted coffee and hazelnut clings on the palate. An excellent companion for grilled white meats, roasted leg of lamb with rosemary, Fettucine with Lobster and aged cheeses.   

MERLOT

  GRAPES: 100% MERLOT

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Merlot grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time.  The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 12 days. The wine is decanted into stainless steel casks and rests for approximately 6 months and ages for an additional 2 months before being bottled and released in the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Merlot is bright ruby red in color with hints of purple at the edges. A delicate herbal bouquet is extracted with hints of wild berry, cherry and blackberry.  Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with a smooth lingering aftertaste of raspberry and liquorice. An excellent companion for roasted and grilled white meats, especially rabbit, as well as hearty soups, sausages and steak tartar.   

PINOT GRIGIO

  GRAPES: 100% PINOT GRIGIO

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Pinot Grigio grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time. The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology. After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 20 days. The wine is decanted into stainless steel casks and rests for approximately 6 months and ages for an additional 2 months before being bottled and released in the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Pinot Grigio has a brilliant straw color and a delicate bouquet with hints of vanilla, honey and exotic fruit.  Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with a bittersweet aftertaste of peach and toasted almond.  Excellent with light antipasti, omelets, fish soups, seafood dishes, risotto or just as an aperitif

  

TAZZELENGHE

  GRAPES: 100% TAZZELENGHE

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Tazzelenghe grapes from an old and autochthonous vine.  The grapes have been carefully selected and hand-picked usually the second week in October.  The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 14 days to obtain a full structured wine. One third of the wine is decanted into two years old barriques, another third of the wine in three years old barriques, and the last third, into new tonneaux for approximately 18 months.  The wine is then blended together and aged for an additional 5 months in bottles before being released in the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Tazzelenghe is bright amaranth in color with violet hues. A first a delicate liquorice and walnut bouquet is extracted with a finish of coffee flavor.  A full-bodied red with a perfect marriage of wine and wood is recognized on the palate.  Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with an excellent fusion of hazelnut and ripe berry jam and a smooth silky finish.  An excellent companion for roasted and grilled white meats, especially rabbit, as well as pastas with savory sauces, or with aged cheeses.   

TOCAI FRIULANO

 GRAPES: 100% TOCAI FRIULANO

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Tocai Friulano grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time.  The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 20 days. The wine is then decanted into stainless steel casks and rests for approximately 6 months while ageing an additional 2 months before being bottled and released on the market.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Tocai is brilliant straw color; extracting a delicate floral bouquet with hints of vanilla, honey and exotic fruit.  Pleasantly soft, dry, well-balanced, with a bittersweet aftertaste of peach and toasted almond. Excellent with light antipasti, fish soup, risotto or just as an aperitif.  

PINOT NERO

  GRAPES: 100% PINOT NERO

 

The Wine: This wine is made of 100% Pinot Nero grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked during the second week in September. The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology. After the destemming and crushing process, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel vats where it stays for approximately 12 days. The wine is then decanted into stainless steel tanks to be refined. An additional period of 2 months in bottle allows the full development of this extremely pleasant wine.

Tasting Notes: Beltrame Pinot Nero shows a bright ruby red color with hints of purple at the edges. A grassy bouquet offers the perfect background to fragrant aromas of wild berries, especially raspberry. A silky texture, ripe with good body, depth and concentration introduces a lingering aftertaste of raspberry, blueberry and wild aromas of oak and chestnut. An excellent companion for light and elegant appetizers, grilled white meats, roasted leg of lamb with rosemary, Fettucine with Lobster and aged cheeses

  

CABERNET SAUVIGNON RISERVA

  GRAPES: 100% CABERNET SAUVIGNON

 

The Wine: The wine is made of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that have been carefully selected and hand-picked at harvest time, which takes place around the second week in October.  The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology.  After destemming and crushing, the must is pumped into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, inoculated with specially selected yeasts and fermented at 66o F for approximately 15 days. One third of the wine is decanted into two years old barriques, another third of the wine in three years old barriques, and the last third, into new tonneaux for approximately 18 months.  The wine is then blended and aged for an additional 5 months in bottles before being released in the market.

REBUS

  GRAPES: 50%MERLOT, 30% CABERNET SAUVIGNON, 10%CABERNET FRANC, 10%REFOSCO

 

The Wine: Rebus is made of 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Refoscot grapes that have been carefully selected and hand picked at the end of September. The grapes undergo a maceration with the skins for 12 days in stainless steel vats. The vinification is a perfect balance of traditional methods and modern technology. Part of the grapes are fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats and the other part in small oak barriques. The wine is then aged for about 18 months and before being release on the market it refines in bottled for 6 months.

Tasting Notes: Rebus has a brilliant ruby red color. The nose expresses an exceptional fragrant bouquet of herbs with hints of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry and plum. It is smooth on the palate with delicate aromas of plum, mulberry, blueberry and licorice. Rebus pairs well with pasta with elaborate sauces, grilled meats and cheeses
