La Vigne

.The Wine: The harvest takes place the first week of October when these Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, coming from a small vineyard located in Isera, are carefully selected and handpicked. After a gentle crushing into stainless steel tanks for approximately 21 days and the rifermentation of the grapes, part of the wine ages in American oak barriques and part in small Slavonian oak barrels for about 18 months during which the malolactic fermentation is fully completed. The final blend is bottled after a slight filtration and allowed to refine for about 6 months before being released on the market.

Tasting Notes: Isera shows a dark ruby color, very rich and deep. Earthy notes introduce scents of dark fruit. Potent and full bodied on the palate, it offers a mouthwatering richness of plum and black currant. Excellent with pastas with meat sauces, grilled or roasted white meat and aged cheeses.
